Cliff Castle Casino Hotel Presents an AllDay Event on Saturday November 18 2023, The Gathering from 10am to 4pm emceed by Thomas Beauty. The event features Burnette Crown Dancers, The Jones Benally Family Traditional Navajo Dancers, Bird Singers and Dancers. Bird Songs are sung for those who have passed. These songs are sung during a traditional wake, starting from dusk till dawn, to help the spirit cross over to the other side of everlasting life.

Today, many of these ancient traditions are still being practiced to honor our fallen loved ones.
