Cliff Castle Casino Hotel Presents an All-Day Event on Saturday, November 18, 2023 – The Gathering, beginning at 10am and running until 4pm, under the Emcee of Thomas Beauty. At 10am, Burnette Crown Dancers will take the stage, followed by the Jones Benally Family Traditional Navajo Dancers at 11am. At 1pm, Bird Singers and Dancers will perform their traditional bird songs that are sung for those who have passed, to help their spirits cross over to the other side. The songs are sung from dusk until dawn, and today many of them are still performed to honor the deceased.
